ULTRASHIFT PLUS VMS
Provides the lowest ground speed for curbing, creeping, spreading, paving and low speed maneuverability of any automated transmission on the market today. The UltraShift PLUS VMS transmission will simplify the driver’s job, increase fuel efficiency, decrease brake wear and minimize cooling requirements.

The UltraShift PLUS VMS transmission:
  • Is based on Eaton's time-tested and proven Fuller 9ALL transmission
  • Provides 11 forward and 3 reverse speeds
  • Features torque capacities up to 1650 pounds-feet
Intelligent adaptive shifting:
  • The UltraShift PLUS VMS transmission employs grade sensing, weight computation and driver throttle commands to make intelligent shift decisions for reliability and performance. The system automatically selects the appropriate starting gear and makes all shift decisions based on grade, vehicle weight, engine torque and throttle position –skip shifting when appropriate
Safety features not found in competitive products:
  • With its forward and reverse slow speed capabilities you can maneuver steep grades safely without riding the brakes. The UltraShift PLUS VMS offers superior safety and control and reduced brake wear. It allows all drivers to launch with confidence and control on even the steepest grades.
  • In addition, the "Hill Start Aid" feature prevents rolling while on steep grades. You can have a controlled launch knowing that your truck won’t roll-back.
