Dana’s expertise with tire pressure management technology began with the military, which has specified Dana Spicer Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS) for two decades.
Today, the commercial version, Dana’s Tire Pressure Control System (TPCS), is the only system available through every major commercial vehicle OEM in North America.
Dana Spicer TIMS builds upon that experience to provide fleets with increased uptime, better fuel economy, longer tread life, and improved retreadability.
Vehicle operators are only notified if tire pressure falls below a pre-determined level – typically 10% below the desired cold-tire pressure setting. Built-in fault tolerance ensures failsafe operation. In-line check valves isolate tires if a hose or tire is damaged.
As the world leader in commercial vehicle tire pressure management, Dana backs each system with a three-year, unlimited mile warranty.
