Increased Warranty Coverage, Reduced Brake Maintenance

The comprehensive Bendix LMS package of wheel end products is geared to maximize life and maintenance intervals. With the Bendix LMS package, wearable components formerly not covered by warranty, such as brake camshaft seals and bushings, are now warranted to three years/350,000 miles, for on-highway applications.

In addition, two available lubrication options – Low Lube or Lube Free – promise to reduce or eliminate brake and automatic slack lubrication. The “Low Lube” version stretches brake and automatic slack lube intervals, while the “Lube Free” version eliminates brake and automatic slack lubrication entirely.

For on-highway fleets that turn their vehicles at three years, the Bendix LMS package potentially eliminates brake maintenance for the length of ownership.

The original thick lining brake, Bendix ES Wide Brakes provide more wearable lining than standard configurations and are the only brakes using Bendix exclusive ES lining materials for optimum brake and drum life. A wider brake combats high brake temperatures caused by repeated brake applications. Bendix ES Wide Brakes can increase brake life on a typical tractor by 25 percent, and on severe service applications by 50 percent.
