Energy Evolution: Transforming the Future of Power
symposium in Chicago, on Monday, June 7, 2010, beginning at noon, at the Gleacher Center, University of Chicago. The half-day event, presented by diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation, will feature a keynote address by Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn and a series of panel discussions featuring the region’s foremost energy leaders to address how the public and private sectors can better navigate rapidly evolving energy-management challenges.
“Chicago and the State of Illinois are setting the bar very high on energy efficiency, smart green buildings and meeting the overall goals of sustainability,” said Craig Arnold, vice chairman and chief operating officer, Industrial Sector, Eaton Corporation, who will deliver opening remarks at the conference. “By bringing regional and national leaders from the public and private sectors together, this symposium will advance the dialogue and solutions to address the great energy challenges of the 21st century.”
As one of America’s greenest cities, Chicago was selected by Eaton to host the event as part of its nationwide series of energy management conferences. Gov. Quinn will provide decision-makers with a critical state energy-management perspective.
