Eaton provides energy-efficient solutions that help our customers effectively manage electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power more efficiently, safely and sustainably. Eaton has approximately 95,000 employees and sells products to customers in more than 175 countries.

Eaton’s presence in Hungary started in 1995, when Klöckner Moeller Hungaria Kft was founded as a wholly owned subsidiary with seven full time employees. The assets of Felten & Guilleaume were added in 1998 to create a strong presence in the electrical sector.

Eaton acquired the Moeller Group in 2008 and the name was officially changed to Eaton Industries Ltd in May 2010.

With the acquisition of Cooper Industries in 2012, Eaton expanded its footprint in Hungary with the addition of Cooper’s Bussmann manufacturing facility in Győr.

2015 saw the creation of Eaton’s Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Business Services Center (BSC) in Budapest, providing high value add services to support internal and external customers across Eaton’s Electrical, Hydraulics, and corporate functions in EMEA.  Eaton now has over 400 employees in Hungary.
